Cyclists Safety Tips
We all travel the same roads, so let's follow the same rules
Obey all traffic laws, signs and signals. Drivers and cyclists should follow the same rules, including stopping at all stop signs, following traffic signals and lane markings, using signals when turning and stopping, and allowing pedestrians to cross the street safely.
Watch out for fellow motorists, bikers, and walkers. Be courteous to everyone using the roads. A little aloha goes a long way.
Keep at least a 2 second distance between you can the car in front of you to avoid accidents. If the weather is bad, make it 4 seconds
