By taking the pledge, you’ll be advocating for safer and friendlier roadways across our Islands. As a Drive Aloha Ambassador, you serve as an example to drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users.
As a Drive Aloha Ambassador:
I will practice responsible, courteous, and safe driving, pedestrian and cycling habits.
I will always follow the rules of the road and obey traffic signs and signals.
As a driver, I will be considerate to other drivers, not be a distracted driver, and watch out for pedestrians and cyclists.
As a pedestrian, I will only cross the street at intersections and marked crosswalks, obey crosswalk signals, and make sure drivers can see me.
As a cyclist, I will share the roads with drivers, use bike lanes where available, never ride against the flow of traffic, and respect pedestrians’ right of way.
I will encourage others to take the Drive Aloha pledge.
