Magics Beach Grill and The Manifest were named the winners at the second annual Hawaii’s Best Mocktail competition held at the International Market Place.
For the second year, DTRIC Insurance, Ltd. and the Hawaii Restaurant Association (HRA) have partnered to find Hawaii’s Best Mocktail. The friendly competition between restaurants, bars and lounges aims to offer non-alcoholic cocktails for designated drivers and non-drinkers. This year’s finalists will compete in the Hawaii’s Best Mocktails competition on Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at International Market Place. The public is invited to attend to sample the mocktail entries and vote for their favorite.
The Hawaii Department of Education’s annual Hawaii Traffic Safety Fair, presented by Par Hawaii and DTRIC Insurance, will try to put the brakes on some of the state’s top safe-driving challenges—sleep deprivation, alcohol- and marijuana-impaired driving, and distracted driving. The Hawaii Traffic Safety Fair, staged at the lower parking lot of Aloha Stadium, will be on Saturday, April 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
