DTRIC Insurance is inviting drivers across the state to take the challenge by downloading the DriveWell Go app and practicing safe driving habits. If you’re 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license, you’re eligible to participate and win.
You’ll be scored on five key safe driving behaviors—and the top three drivers on the leaderboard at the end of the challenge will win big. Up to $2,500 is up for grabs!

PRIZES AND WINNER DETERMINATION
- Grand Prize: The entrant with the highest rolling average score on the Leaderboard will be declared the Grand Prize Winner, subject to verification of scores. The Grand Prize Winner will receive $2,500.
- Second Prize: The entrant with the second highest rolling average score on the Leaderboard will be declared the Second Prize Winner, subject to verification of scores. The Second Prize Winner will receive $1,000.
- Third Prize: The entrant with the third highest rolling average score on the Leaderboard will be declared the Third Prize Winner, subject to verification of scores. The Third Prize Winner will receive $500.
Winner Determination: Three (3) Prizes will be awarded to three (3) entrants with the highest driving scores on the Leaderboard on August 30, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. HST To qualify as a winner, an Entrant must have joined the contest within the Contest Period (08/01/25 – 08/30/25) and must have logged a minimum of 30 (thirty) driving trips and a minimum of 150 (one hundred fifty) total miles during the Contest Period.

ABOUT THE DRIVEWELL GO APP
The Drive Aloha Challenge uses the DriveWell Go app, which provides feedback to drivers on five metrics for each trip taken:
- Rapid acceleration (sudden shifts to high speeds from lower speeds)
- Harsh braking (brake-slamming and the sudden, drastic reduction in speed)
- Hard Cornering (speeding while driving around corners)
- At-risk speeding (driving a certain threshold over the posted speed limit)
- Phone distraction (having your cellphone in-hand with the screen on while driving)
DriveWell Go tracks trips while in the background on the driver’s phone. Users receive a score at the end of each trip. They also see how they measured in each metric and get tips to improve their rating.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR DRIVEWELL GO APP
- Download the app on IOS (Apple App Store) or Android (Google Play). Follow the prompts to create an account with your email address, username (handle), and token 134617.
- Enable the necessary smartphone permissions by following the prompts.
- Set Location Service to “Always On” during the contest period.

Only the Entrants’ handle and average scores on the App’s Leaderboard are visible to all Entrants in the Contest. No other driving data is visible to other Entrants. Sponsor will have access to all Entrants data solely for the purpose of identifying the winning Entrant. The App developer, Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) retains only the minimal data necessary to provide service. App developer does not sell or share data with third parties. App developer maintains physical, procedural, and technological controls to protect customer information and to comply with privacy laws and regulations.
