DTRIC Insurance has named Wenli Lin as its new Chief Marketing Officer, managing the company’s marketing efforts including branding, market research, advertising, public relations, digital communications, and community relations initiatives.
Lin brings more than three decades of experience to her new position and has held a number of key executive positions during her career. She was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Hawaii Coffee Company where she revitalized and rebranded Lion Coffee. At AIG Hawaii, she preserved the brand during the financial crisis and successfully re-established the company as Farmers Insurance Hawaii, quickly gaining brand position in the market. She was also Director of Marketing at Duty Free and Brand Manager at Kraft Foods in New York and Hong Kong.
Lin received both her undergraduate degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and studied at both the Institute for International Studies in Japan and the University of Michigan’s Business Executive Marketing Program.
