Don’ts

  • Rush when handling hot items.
  • Allow pot handles or cooking utensils to stick out from stove fronts.
  • Allow pot handles to be over stove tops or burners.
  • Handle pot items with bare hands.
  • Walk behind others with hot items without warning them about you holding a hot item.
  • Throw frozen items into the deep fryer causing splashes.
  • Lift hot items from an unsafe positions like above the shoulders or across burners.
  • Wear loose clothing when working around burners.
